The Pleasant Street Free Baptist Church Youth Group attended M-fuge again this year. This time they went to Florida by train!
Mfuge stands for Mission Fuge. Each year about 30 of our youth go on the mission trip. They have been to Florida, South Carolina, and St. Louis, Missouri in the past. While on the mission trip, they perform community service in the inner cities, assist visiting nurses, feed the homeless, and do yard work for the elderly. They also help out in food pantries, and work with children.
In addition to the time spent performing service, the youth spend time in Bible studies, worship services, and small groups.
During opportunities to turn their lives to Jesus, many of our youth have responded.
